Summer Trend Alert: Toolbelt Diva Says Toolbelts are in
(PRWEB) June 3, 2005
Norma Vally Âstruts into her second season as Toolbelt Diva this June, sporting one of this summerÂs must-have accessories for womenÂa toolbelt! This season, Vally doles out trendy toolbelts to 10 Âhonorary divas, who eagerly accept NormaÂs expertise and help with their home-repair troubles. The second season of Toolbelt Diva premieres on Friday, June 3, at 9 PM.
The charismatic construction expert continues her quest to empower women everywhere with the confidence to pick up a power drill, hammer, wrench or any tool necessary to complete long-standing, unfinished projects in their homes. NormaÂs can-do attitude has proven to be contagious, as the womenÂs do-it-yourself movement has caught fire nationwide. Norma has led the way for a pack of female home improvement pros to steal the spotlight in a male-dominated field and has been hailed for helping women take over the home improvement domain.
Each episode of Toolbelt Diva chronicles the two-day interaction between Norma and a protégé, from their first meeting to diagnose the home improvement project they will tackle, to a shopping excursion for supplies, to Norma and the home owner putting the finishing touches on their handiwork.
Norma returns to Seattle for the first half of Toolbelt Diva’s second season, assisting female home owners with projects ranging from replacing a leaky kitchen faucet, sink and garbage disposal, to providing a cosmetic overhaul to a backyard pool area, to securing a single womanÂs home by replacing window locks and installing motion-sensor lighting outside.
The second city Toolbelt Diva visits during season two is Los Angeles, where Vally spreads her enthusiastic can-do message to weary, first-time home improvement novices. In Los Angeles, NormaÂs renovation expertise spans the home improvement spectrum as she guides one home owner through reviving her front porch, helps another extend and expand a backyard deck, then provides guidance for another who wants and needs to replace laminate flooring thatÂs nearly 30 years old. Norma even finds time to help an animal lover build a doggie duplex for her (rescued) canine companions.
Toolbelt Diva is produced for Discovery Home Channel by Screaming Flea Productions. Liza Keckler is the producer. For Discovery Home Channel, Sue Norton is the executive producer.
